First stay in touch with the bail bond company if you used one. They will get notice of court settings. Contact an attorney in Wichita to arrange representation. Do not miss any court settings! You will have to travel to be at court on time for each setting unless you are given permission to be absent. Your lawyer can help you with the best approach to take with your case.  The first setting in court can usually be made without council, but it is not safe to make that assumption. You can call the court to find out their procedures. To find out the court phone number call the district clerk's office in Wichita and ask. If you get an attorney immediately that person can give you all the instructions necessary.

Do they present all charges in the police report?

The pen would be considered paraphernalia, which could get you a ticket for a Class C offense (Possessionof Drug Paraphernalia). It is conceivable that, once they determine it is an implement used for smoking pot, that you could have a citation issued to you through the mail. If that happens, go to court and ask for a deferred disposition. If they say no, hire an attorney. Your bigger concern is the Class B case.

Dont hire the cheapest lawyer.. if they got you dead to rights, a deal should be able to be worked out so that your record can be cleared later.  A lawyer will have to take the time to  present you so the presecution would look at giving you a second chance....That takes time and a cheap lawyer dont have the time to do it....
