Your question requires an attorney consultation. It is not a simple question that can be answered on this type of forum. There are many factors that would need to be considered and evaluated. Since we do not have all the facts, it is impossible to give a completely accurate answers. Whether you waited too long will depend on whether you were convicted or entered into a plea agreement or your case is still going on. I strongly suggest that you contact an experienced criminal defense attorney for a face-to-face consultation and give him/her all of the facts surrounding your case. He/she would then be in a better position to analyze your case and advise you of your options.

Nothing except possibly contributing to the delinquency of a minor, but there is no danger of that if the driver had nothing to do with buying the alchohol or getting them drunk.

Is it possible to hire an attorney to show up to court and take care of these warrants for me?

Mark A. Broughton
Answered by attorney Mark A. Broughton (Unclaimed Profile)

Yes, you can hire a lawyer to help you with this. Normally, though, you will have to appear with your attorney for the first appearance even the charge is for a misdemeanor. If it is a felony you may have to appear for all hearings unless the judge grants a request to allow your attorney to appear for you for most hearings. It is always better to take care of the warrants by coming in rather than being arrested.
