Force to move while facing charges

Answered by attorney Kenneth G. Wincorn
Criminal Law lawyer at Law Offices of Kenneth G. Wincorn & Associates, P.C.
The answer depends on where the case was filed. You should consult with a lawyer in the county where the charge is pending. If you are in Florida he may be able to do a plea in absentia. Each judge has a different rule about doing a plea when you are not present. Some will allow it and others will not. In Dallas it is possible to do a memorandum agreement that results in a dismissal without a plea but you must be present in court twice.

What are the laws regarding sex offender residency restrictions?

Cynthia Russell Henley
Answered by attorney Cynthia Russell Henley (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Cynthia Henley
There are no residency restrictions on registering sex offender who is not "on paper" - parole or probation. All of the rules governing your husband terminated with his probation EXCEPT registration. I do not see why you would have trouble buying a home - that is between you and the lending company. As for the HOAs, they may not like having a sex offender in their neighborhood but they cannot legally prohibit it (to my knowledge.)

Answered by attorney William R. Pelger

normally the bond poster is only financially liable. the bond poster would have no criminal liability in your case, unless he is aiding or abetting or hindering that apprehension of a criminal. for that he may be charged.
