This is not a criminal case question. The bill of sale should be enough. How do you know he will pay off the loan?

What should I do on a Possession of cannabis less than 20 grams case?

Answered by attorney Eric J Trabin (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at The Trabin Law Firm, P.L.
Hire an attorney. The attorney will go over every detail of your case, including the basis for the police officer stopping you. If there is a possible defense available, such as suppressing the evidence of the cannabis, then he will pursue it. By the very least, the attorney can negotiate a possible resolution with the prosecutor. The attorney can also waive your appearance so you do not need to go to your first court date. Do not plead guilty or no contest without having an attorney.

A good atty. should be able to get you probation at worst, probably ARD, and possibly a plea to a summary at the Prelim.
