What should you do if you are wrongly accused of child abuse?

If the witness has recanted the story and there is nothing in the police report to support the abuse charge, it should be possible to get the charge dismissed. The accused should retain a criminal defense attorney to handle this as the potential ramifications can be quite serious.

Can a company sue me because a cashier gave me more cash than she was supposed to during a cashback transaction?

You could possibly be prosecuted, you will just have to wait and see if Walmart turns it in to the cops. I would just start shopping at Target and Big Lots.

Is there a chance that my husband gets another trial?

Cynthia Russell Henley

Even after the appeal there is a possibility of having the case reviewed on habeas corpus. If he was sentenced to death, he gets an appointed attorney. If sentenced to life, he would have to hire a lawyer.
