What is a way to get him released without costing me an arm and a leg before setting the court date?

Answered by attorney Michael L. Aaronson
Criminal Law lawyer at Aaronson Law Firm
The bond sounds very high and probably "excessive" for the crime he's charged with. He has a right to a bond hearing very soon after his arrest and probably should have gotten an attorney, court-appointed or otherwise, to handle these matters.

Person with mental issues took blame for cousins periphenilia

Answered by attorney Tristan Nicolas Legrande
Criminal Law lawyer at LeGrande Law
No. If she is on probation, then there is no way for her to go back and undo her guilty plea (or her conviction after a jury trial - if she is on probation after being sentenced to a probated conviction following trial).
