How can I handle my felony case?

Answered by attorney Andrea Rogers (Unclaimed Profile)

If you are on probation for any reason and then you commit a misdemeanor or a felony, that will be considered a violation of your probation. If you are saying that the charges are incorrect, or that the paperwork shows that you were originally on probation for a felony when you weren't, you need to contact the court or hire an attorney to take care of it for you.

The suspension is automatic. The judge has no choice. If you are convicted, no matter where your were, the license will be suspended.? And, it will remain suspended until you take the DOEP course through the DPS.
