Am I going to deported because of the DUI based on the accident or deny getting a ticket shows a bad moral character?

Answered by attorney Laurie A. Schmidt
Criminal Law lawyer at 5280 Law Group
You should consult an immigration attorney I your area for specific information. You are asking two questions, 1. Can you be deported and 2. Can you be denied admissibility based on the DUI and new traffic ticket. Typically a traffic infraction is not moral turpitude, thus it along cannot have an immigration consequence.

How long would I legally face as a minor for breaking into a car?

Obviously, teen court is not doing you any good. Good chance you will be booted from teen court and charged with the petty theft. You say you are only 15, thinking that you can receive some benefit for being a minor. You are old enough to be charged as an adult. Bottom line: you need to grow up, or accept the consequences that come from being "very stupid". My advice, consult with an attorney.

What can I do to have the domestic violence charges dropped?

Answered by attorney Michael Sean Devereux (Unclaimed Profile)

Pursuant to Marcy's Law you have several rights, including the right not to testify. In addition, you have several constitutional rights, including the 5th Amendment Right. My experience is that when victims try to exercise their rights the prosecution and sometimes the judge will trample on them and their rights. So my recommendation is to contact an attorney for a free consultation for possible representation and to review your rights.
