What happens if I pleaded no contest to a simple assault four years ago and paid a fine and just got arrested for another?

What happens is largely the same as what happened before. The chances of jail on a second charge like this are decreased when you hire a private criminal defense attorney. Chances are very hard to guess at without knowing all of the facts and circumstances.

1st offense probation violation warrent - will be get a bond or how long will they hold him

Answered by attorney Diane Buerger
Criminal Law lawyer at The Buerger Law Firm, P.A.
There is no definite answer because there are so many variables -- including the nature of the original charge; the nature of the alleged violation; the probation officer's recommendation; the area of Florida in which the charge/violation is pending.  In the jurisidiction where I primarily practice, the person is likely to be held in jail on the violation of probation allegation until the violation case is resolved with a plea bargain or evidenciary hearing.  After that, the person could be held even longer -- depending on the sentence if he/she is found to have violated, as alleged.

What am I looking at for a 2nd DWLS second offense?

The punishment will include incarceration for at least 10 days for the second offense, and more fines and costs than the first. The thing for you to do is hire an attorney in your area, hopefully for both cases.
