How long will I serve for 1 misdemeanor petty theft FTA?

Answered by attorney Robert Jason De Groot (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at R. Jason de Groot, P.A.
It depends upon many factors. If it is a first degree misdemeanor it could be up to a year, if a second degree misdemeanor up to 60 days. Usually, it would be probation instead of jail, but I do not know all the facts.

Well the maximum, just from what you have written, is 10 years in prison, but we need to know all of the facts and circumstances as well as the complete prior record.

Surely, there must be more facts than what you have written here. The only answer I can give is perhaps.
