How do I expunge a 160.05 felony?

Answered by attorney Carl Scott Spector
Criminal Law lawyer at Law Offices of Carl Spector
If you or a friend or loved one was convicted of a 160.05, that is a Robbery in the Third Degree a nonviolent class D felony in New York. This will not be able to be expunged from your record because New York does not have expungments. However, you may be eligible for a Certificate of Relief from Civil Disabilities.

Answered by attorney Ernest T. Biando (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Law Office of Ernest T. Biando LLC
The court would issue a default warrant-which means if you get stopped you will be arrested. A surrender needs to take place to set the case back on the docket-contact the office to discuss.

What is the process of sealing a record?

Answered by attorney Stephen Lewis Freeborn (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Freeborn Law Offices P.S.
It is generally very difficult to have a record sealed because courts, and most court records, are considered public. Whether or not yours is subject to being sealed, I have no idea (probably not), the only way you can know with certainty is to have an attorney review your record.
