Answered by attorney Mark R. Thiessen

You really need to contact a family lawyer. Yes, he can get in trouble for sex with a 16 year old. It's statutory rape. I don't know all the legal ramifications of signing a birth certificate. You could always do that at a later time, correct.

You have a felony conviction? A felony conviction is a felony conviction. It will always appear on your record, even when your voting rights may be restored. I suspect that most medical companies do not need to employed a convicted felon, but the conviction itself will not present you from obtaining employment. You need to ask the folks in the medical community if you are employable as a nurse.
