I was convicted of a DUI third back in 2003 and put on probation and left the state for ten years, what can they do?

It depends on whether or not you were placed on formal or informal probation. If you were on formal probation and failed to report to your probation officer, there is probably a warrant issued for your arrest. You will need to hire an attorney to try and get the warrant recalled and the matter straightened out. If you were on informal probation, you should not have any problems since informal probation usually does not have any travel restrictions attached to it.

How can I transfer a misdemeanor probation to another state?

Answered by attorney H. Matthew Vititoe
Criminal Law lawyer at Law Office of Matt Vititoe
You will need to get approval from the Georgia probation department AND the one in Michigan. Assuming you are approved (it's a pretty common thing), you will need to pay an interstate compact fee.

Generally not unless you help or secret. If I were you I would end the visit and get away from any such activity. The cost of defense, even if you are innocent, can be hideous.
