You are unfortunately court between the proverbial rock and a hard place. There is not much you can do personally. Your girlfriend can either continue with her false testimony or tell the truth and face a filing a false police report charge. You need to have a serious conversation with your attorney and go over your options.

What are some legal reasons for me not to appear in court since I do not want to press charges against my girlfriend?

If you have already been subpoenaed, there are no legal reasons for you not to appear unless you are hospitalized and have the medical records to support your hospitalization. Failure to appear in court can result in the judge issuing a bench warrant or body attachment for your arrest. The police will be looking for you and when found will arrest you and eventually bring you to court to explain to the judge why you disobeyed the subpoena. The court can find you in contempt of court and sentence you to jail. If you refuse to testify, the court can also find you in contempt and sentence you to jail.
