Since the case is State of Florida aginst your boyfriend, not you vs. him, so you can ask that the case be dropped but you don't have the power to accomplish that.

If you do not go a default can be entered and then there could be an injunction against you. I think you should hire an attorney for this.

You can always try for yourself if you suffered the assault and threat. It is up to police whether they file or not.
