A case of collusion, clear race and gender discrimination with a major insurance company was already a bad experience. After hiring Daniel Flebotte with a $5000 retainer fee, his office sent me a letter stating that he would be on sabbatical for three months. I felt like I knew where he was during those three months after telling me, he was a recovering alcoholic, but had 30 years of experience in Wake County. After 3 months he called me while I was sitting in my classroom in front of children at 7:30 in the morning telling me that I should be downtown at a law firm when he and no one from his office had given me any information or prior notice. My experience with him was anything but honest, reliable, or worth the money he received from me and the stress he added to the situation. It’s been a few years, and I still have nightmares and come to tears about his shenanigans. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone ever.
