Mark P. Dugan, a native of Union County, New Jersey, practices law in his hometown. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics, with a major in Accounting, from Lehigh University, followed by a Juris Doctor from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he was a Samuel Belkin Scholar in Corporate Law. Mr. Dugan's legal practice centers on business law, often serving as outside general counsel to businesses of various sizes, including non-profits. His work includes entity formation, contract negotiation, corporate governance, and commercial litigation. Mr. Dugan has also represented employers and select employees in employment matters.
In addition to his private practice, Mr. Dugan has held public roles, serving as Township Attorney in Clark and previously in Hillside, New Jersey. He is licensed to practice in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia, as well as before multiple federal courts. He also acts as a mediator, appointed by the courts and retained privately. His civic involvement includes serving on various boards and committees, and he currently offers pro bono legal counsel to St. Joseph Social Center and sits on the Board of Trustees for The Roncoli Foundation.
