Very professional and thorough, until deposition time arrived. Face to face with the law firm hired by the city of Red Oak, I don't feel that he presented my case properly, or in any manor that he and I had discussed and planned. Nor do I feel that I was properly represented. He left out all the facts and didn't cross-examine the parties involved. He also accepted an agreement that paid his expenses and fees, finalized. I don't feel that his actions were justified nor were they ethical.
I contacted this firm from a referral and was assigned the 'next' attorney on deck. Please see the review for Jennifer Sewell. When I became disenfranchised about Mrs. Sewell I met with Jake Peters, I believe he is the managing partner. He basically said she can do whatever she wants and I was done with them. He used profanity during the meeting and was not interested in what I had to say.
I was the BUYER in a real estate transaction with Scott Rogers representing the SELLER. He was difficult to contact and was often rude if I did get the opportunity to speak with him.
I wanted to change an item in the agreement (the SELLER and I agreed to remove it) and he refused, talking over me and not even trying to understand my position. While trying to explain my position, he HUNG UP ON ME!! ( I was the BUYER for his CLIENT!!)
