Born in 1948; received his JD with High Honors from Tulane University School of Law and received an LL.M in Taxation from New York University School of Law. He was admitted to the bar in Louisiana in 1978 and in Connecticut in 1980; and is an attorney in good standing with both Louisiana and Connecticut. He began his legal career as a tax attorney at the law firm, Phelps, Dunbar, Marks, Claverie and Sims in New Orleans, Louisiana. Since then he has launched three successful businesses and has taught both finance and law classes at Teikyo Post University, Quinnipiac College and the University of New Orleans School of Business.
