The Law Office of David J. Dunn, P.C. was formed in 1988. The firm's name was subsequently changed to Dunn & Weathered, P.C. In 2003, the firm's name was changed to Dunn, Weathered, Coffey, Rivera & Kasperitis, P.C. And now ,the firm's name is Dunn, Coffey & Kasperitis, P.C.

The firm has attained Martindale-Hubbell's highest rating for legal ability and ethical standards and is also listed in Martindale-Hubbell's Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers.

The firm is engaged in a general civil trial and appellate practice. With the exception of Frank Weathered's appellate practice, the vast majority of the firm's business is in the insurance defense area. Mr. Weathered's appellate practice includes insurance defense matters as well as a great deal of commercial litigation, including oil and gas disputes, and class action litigation.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
