Was going through a divorce and several friends suggested Colleen. I felt well informed and cared for. Now it’s many years later and as I approach retirement I’m so glad Colleen helped me to plan. I was at a loss going through my divorce and she was a wise counsel.
George was professional and available to answer any questions I had or address and concerns. He helped me close on my home quickly and made it a pleasant experience. I highly recommend him for any legal counsel!
He is a wonderful man who is easy to talk to. He really knows what he is doing.
George got the work done but as one of two executors I was often frustrated because my brother could call him and he would return his call immediately but when I called he usually didn't call me back. I found this disrespectful of me. Generally he handled thing fine but that one area bothered me.
Still in the middle of probate for my father’s estate, and my experience with the Welch Firm has been nothing short of alarming. I signed consent for my sister to be administrator based on promises of neutrality and transparency. That was quickly broken. Since then, I’ve uncovered undisclosed asset transfers, a car sold to the administrator before appointment, and a misleading inventory that omitted major items. When I raised concerns, the attorney dismissed them by saying, “There’s good shady and bad shady.” Worst of all, private emails I sent to the attorney were later accessed by the administrator. I’ve asked several times how that happened—no one will give me an answer. This isn’t a miscommunication issue—it’s a pattern of avoidance, secrecy, and blurred ethical lines. If you’re going through probate, I strongly recommend finding a firm that believes in accountability. This one clearly doesn’t
