Still in the middle of probate for my father’s estate, and my experience with the Welch Firm has been nothing short of alarming. I signed consent for my sister to be administrator based on promises of neutrality and transparency. That was quickly broken. Since then, I’ve uncovered undisclosed asset transfers, a car sold to the administrator before appointment, and a misleading inventory that omitted major items. When I raised concerns, the attorney dismissed them by saying, “There’s good shady and bad shady.” Worst of all, private emails I sent to the attorney were later accessed by the administrator. I’ve asked several times how that happened—no one will give me an answer. This isn’t a miscommunication issue—it’s a pattern of avoidance, secrecy, and blurred ethical lines.
