About Michael Mcclendon Youngberg

From complex million-dollar estates and complex custody cases, to simple property division and agreed upon shared custody arrangements, Mike has helped all kinds of clients achieve their goals. Mike’s practice includes: divorce, child custody, child support, modifications of existing orders, enforcements, division of property, characterization of property, spousal maintenance, temporary restraining orders, and protective orders.

Mike understands the emotional and financial toll that a family law case can take on a person, so he lightens that burden for his clients through pragmatic and compassionate representation. Mike concentrates his efforts on prosecuting his client’s interests as well as the children’s interests while keeping focused on the cost and emotional toll that prolonged litigation can have on a person. While most cases will settle prior to a final hearing, Mike strives to prepare his clients for the courtroom every step of the way, so that they won’t feel pressured into a settlement out of fear. In his litigation practice, Mike is a zealous advocate for his clients in court and has helped many clients obtain their desired results from a final hearing.

Prior to moving into private practice, Mike worked with the Office of the Attorney General of the State of Texas in the child support division. While representing the State of Texas, he gained extensive experience in establishing, modifying, and enforcing child support orders.

Mike attended The University of Alabama School of Law, where he graduated early, and has been licensed to practice law in the State of Texas since May 2014.
