I located Mr. Young online, and he was a great help to me in handling a hurtful matter that needed to be addressed. He is a very good listener, and after reading several communications for background information I emailed him, he completely understood my situation. He guided me carefully throughout. The final written communication to another attorney was exactly what I wanted to express; my writing skills are very good but Mr. Young expressed what I wanted to say much better. I would not have been able to do so without his excellent writing skills. His paralegal, Mark, was also excellent during the several times I phoned the firm. They both helped me deal with a family situation that I never thought I would have to go through. I would retain Mr. Young again.
I have been a client of Jonathan Young and his firm for over 40 years. He has handled my marital affairs and estate matters. However, he has, at no cost to me, been giving me legal advise on other matters throughout the years. I regard him as a great attorney and a good friend considering of my needs.
Happy he retired. He made promises he couldn’t do and refused to give a retainer agreement. He did nothing. He had a paralegal that was overworked and gave no help to assist. Always off. My family member thought everything was paid for and he collected more afterwards. I would recommend a specialized lawyer for the specific job needed. He was not knowledgeable in many subjects of law. He was a family attorney; it was expressed that he knew diviorce law and estate law. He was not knowledgeable enough and I had to spend more money. If we went to a specialized attorney we would have saved a lot of money and time! He wasted too much time and money!
