Hired Attorney Lee Horton Ballard

My client, Mary Behan, had been out due to a significant surgical procedure and missed her HOA payment. Mr. Ballard is the Collections Lawyer for the HOA office. I tried to contact Mr. Ballard numerous times; however, I was unable to reach him. I had to deal with another attorney in his firm named Carli Pierson. I had explained that my client was late with her HOA payment due to the fact that because of the surgery, mentally she was obviously not focused on various bills including her HOA. Ms. Pierson told me that after speaking to Mr. Ballard, he was not willing to consider the circumstances, and my client MUST pay all legal fees. I asked Ms. Pierson to set up an appointment so that I could speak to Mr. Ballard. She was NOT willing to allow me to speak to him and actually hung up on me. The fact that Mr. Ballard was not willing to talk to me about this situation speaks volumes about the type of lawyer he is. Obviously, he is a lawyer that only sees one side of the situation.
