The State of Florida has some of the strictest drunk driving laws in the country. If you have been charged with driving under the influence (DUI), you need to retain an attorney who has the experience to represent you effectively in court. I am a Miami DUI lawyer with more than 30 years of experience and am a specialist in the field of DUI. I understand the laws that affect your situation and I am prepared to offer the strong and effective defense you need.
I was named a "Top Ten DUI Lawyer" by the Miami Herald, and my name is included in theCambridge Who's Who in Law as well as Florida Trend's Legal Elite. I don’t even know where to start i have been battling having a suspended license for about 10 years which led me to become an habitual driver I called around looking for lawyers and each and every one of them turned me down and said that my case was too old and that I will just have to wait out the 5 years. I am a single mother and I have been catching Uber Lyft and getting rides with friends to and from work spending so much money that I don’t have while trying to pay bills. It has really been a struggle for me. I am so blessed to have came across Jonathan. He is truly a blessing for taking his time with me and helping me. He was very professional, he responded quickly and always kept me updated. Jonathan was able to reopen my case. The same old case that other so called lawyers claim that was too old to open and he won. I couldn’t do nothing but cry. I’m so grateful for him. If he was able to help me he can help anybody. Thank you once again Jonathan! Read less

Working with Atty Blecher greatly relieved the stress I was experiencing from a legal traffic matter. He responded swiftly to my request for a consultation and he reviewed my case and record prior to our phone meeting so he could give me his experienced and educated opinion about my options. Atty Blecher’s professional and kind demeanor made him very easy to talk to and I had no issue expressing my questions and concerns to him. Atty Blecher is highly intelligent and he doesn’t try to take advantage of people’s fear of the system by hitting them hard in the pocket. If you need effective representation in a court case, contact Atty Blecher and you’ll quickly understand that he’s the perfect choice! Read less

If this is your first offense then it is almost certain that you will be eligible for a diversionary program. Every case is different and the facts, and any prior history, and a host of other factors go into that equation. DUI arrests in Florida have two components, the criminal and the administrative driver license case. They are separate, but the DMV side must be attended to within 10 days from the date of arrest. Before you start thinking about jail (possible or not) you should speak an […]
Charges that are "no-filed" are not dismissed, they simply are not prosecuted by the State Attorney's Office at that time. The State can still file the case within the Statute of Limitations and Speedy Trial time parameters. However, assuming you are legally eligible for an expungement (no prior expungements, sealing or convictions) the record can be expunged. Most The State Attorney's […]
The Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office is rolling out a new Boating Under The Influence Diversion Program, following the highly successful DUI Back on Track Diversion Program (motor vehicles) started in 2011. While the first job of a defense attorney is to investigate and defend criminal charges for their client, the BUI Diversion Program may be an option for many first offenders. What […]
