Diane P. Perez is a Florida Bar Board Certified Specialist in Labor and Employment Law and the founder of Diane Perez, P.A. A South Florida native—born in Hialeah and raised in Miami and Hollywood, she understands how workplaces operate here and what matters to the employees and companies she represents throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach. Diane represents both employers and employees in employment litigation and counseling matters in state and federal court, as well as before federal, state, and local agencies. She earned her J.D., with High Honors, from the University of Miami School of Law, where she served as an Associate Editor of the International and Comparative Law Review, and she holds a B.S. in Magazine Journalism from the University of Florida. Before opening her own firm, Diane built her employment-law foundation at several national labor and employment firms, representing management in a wide range of matters. She is also a frequent speaker and writer on employment topics, including equal pay, wage-and-hour issues, and discrimination.
