Aloof and Confused GAL My experience with Barry Yablen as a guardian ad litem was extremely disappointing. His approach to the case was both aloof and confused, demonstrating a clear lack of attention to detail. Although he billed for reading emails, his responses indicated he did not take the time to actually review them thoroughly. Yablen's handling of the case was heavily biased, showing undue favoritism towards my ex-husband while neglecting my concerns. His unprofessional behavior and decisions negatively impacted my child's well-being. One of the most concerning aspects of Yablen's involvement was his disregard for expert medical advice from a well known Head of Pediatric Neurology. His unilateral decisions regarding my child's medical care were made without proper consultation and put my child's health at risk. In summary, Barry Yablen's performance was appalling and exacerbated the already difficult situation. I would strongly advise against using his services a GAL.
