Took our contract labor case to civil court, it was dismissed. The court determined it was not in the right forum but belonged in P.E.R.C. as well as being time barred. She then appealed, No 3D-957, Lower Tribunal No 15-4806, where we lost again, we were sanctioned. I then presented the case to P.E.R.C. It was dismissed CB-2016-014, 015. It was the correct forum, but we only had 180 days to file. Had we gone to PERC the first time I would have won back pay and wages. All said and done, her decision to go to civil court coast me about $425, 000 in legal fees, sanctions, back pay and wages. I found an attorney to sue for negligence, but she carries NO insurance. Horrible and inept representation by Ms. Cannizzo.
