There is nothing worse than having a child accused of a crime and it is more horrible when your child suffers for disabilities rendering him equal to a 10 year old. When confronted with allegations of child abuse I did what most people would do I took him to the police to tell them what he had been accused of doing. This was without a doubt the beginning of the worse nightmare in my life. Mike Knowlton fought like a tiger to protect my son and his rights as a human being. The State would not even talk to him about settlement and my child whose main pastime was watching his fish and feeding his ducks was faced with 12 years in prison at 100%. Every time the state brought “new” evidence up, Mike shot it down. Finally, the State threw in the towel and reached an agreement with Mike saving my son! I learned many things from this prosecution of my son, but the one thing I will always remember is how Mike Knowlton took care of my son. Thank you Mike.
