Hired Attorney Martelia T. Crawford

I received the desired outcome by utilizing the services of her firm. However, I don't really recall very much correspondence coming from her firm, aside from a small handful of letters/documents. I feel that most of the tough negotiating work that determined the outcome of the settlement was done by a mediator, not by anyone from this law firm. That having been said, however, in the end I was satisfied with the outcome of the case and I would recommend it to a friend or family.

Hired Attorney Martelia T. Crawford

After charging me $ 2,500 to prepare a few documents from time to time, she ultimately ended up sending me to a mediator, who was able to conclude the matter. The mediator charged me $ 200. It seems like the mediator did most of the hard negotiating work. It seems like all Martelia Crawford did was to prepare a few standard documents and legal responses. It certainly did not seem like $ 2,500 worth of work.

Hired Attorney Martelia T. Crawford

Ultimately, I got a satisfactory outcome from using her services: My wife got the child support from her ex-husband. However, it didn't seem like her firm performed a lot of work for the money that they received. The actual child support settlement was negotiated by a mediator, not by the lawyer. Maybe there was some extra work that was done behind the scenes, but I didn't see it or hear about it. I guess it was worth the money spent to hire her, since we got a favorable outcome.
