Helen has always gone above and beyond. I used her in my divorce case and we were able to negotiate everything I wanted. She's a strong advocate in the court room and I'd highly recommend her! She's also very personable, friendly and understanding!

Helen knows her stuff. She isn’t scared of anyone and she will put people in their place quickly. My husbands ex was a huge pain and very entitled. Helen put her in her place quick, I wish we would have used her from the start. Her office assistants are OK as far as being organized, it would be frustrating at times, but when it came down to the wire, she was on point.

Terrible attorney. She got tripped up and called out over her own misrepresentations of the facts and had a hard time pronouncing words correctly. She looked unprofessional and acted like a buffoon when things started going against her. The witness I saw her question actually out debated her and made her look completely incompetent. She’s not good at keeping her composure, and it was obvious to everyone, including the judge, that she had lost the plot and was grasping at straws to make something stick on behalf of her client. Obviously she lost the case I observed. I couldn’t believe how bad she was - it was entertaining.

Helen Rice Grinder has refuses to communicate with me and has been working on my case for a year. Once she was paid the $5,000 retainer fee, she stopped communicating with me. I call once a week to receive an update on my case. She is on legal assistant number four since I hired her, so the new young lady is not familiar with my case. The former workers even expressed frustrations having to work for her due to her lack of organization and communication with clients. My case is still not resolved.

Helen took my case and asked for $20,000 as a retainer and her fee was $250 per hour. She made it sound like we can get this done pretty quick. I had Everything ready to go for her… Once she took my money my case was not important to her. Another lawyer took my case for Helen (thank goodness). The other lawyer never got paid. My case went on for about 9 months (I believe). Once my divorce was final Helen wanted another $100,000 from me !!!! Be ware and get things in writing.

At the time (2008) she was $250.00 an hour with a retainer of $5000.00. We are not rich people but thought her reputation was a good one.......until court time. She may have spent 2 days working our case, then in court, never asked any pertinent questions and obviously things didn't go well. Afterwards, she informed us, keep in mind.....after taking our $5000.00 plus court fees.......the case couldn't be won anyway!! DO NOT USE HER BECAUSE SHE WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOT DO HER JOB.
