When I first talked to Atty Neal on the phone, he seemed very promising and eager to help. I met with him, gave him all paperwork I had concerning my ex and the modifications I was seeking for my divorce decree and parenting plan, and trusted Atty Neal to come through. Nearly two months later, I received a motion for contempt from my ex's lawyer, part of which cited that I'd said I was going to be getting a lawyer, and there was still not notice of appearance filed. I called, texted, and emailed Atty Neal about this. The following day I emailed Atty Neal again. The day following that, with still no response, I asked Atty Neal to just let me know if he still intended to take my case or not. He did not respond until my mom, a retired Navy lawyer, left him a voicemail. He left her a voicemail saying he'd already emailed me (he hadn't), and that a refund of the retainer I paid, and my paperwork, were waiting to be picked up. The reviews do not lie. Do not hire!!
Do not use Tom Neal. He's very unprofessional rude, comma will not return phone calls, comma does not do what he tells you hes going to. Do. I gave them all my court paperwork? When I ask for back he gave me 4 pieces and told me that all I gave game. He's the wife of you. He's lost a year of my paperwork you're very unprofessional. I highly would not recommend him.
I didn’t want to believe the reviewed but I was referred to this lawyer and he was just so unprofessional. Won’t return your calls, makes it seem like you’re bothering him. See someone else.
Very horrible lawyer. Missed mediation date, unreliable and not worth to speak to. Lies in court. Threatens to bring you to jail and to call the cops, calls people horrible names in front of the court. Very irresponsible!
Sounds great to start out but then it becomes apparent that he's very difficult to contact. Doesn't answer email and voice mail is full. When asked how to contact him in view of this, he just shrugged his shoulders. Says he will do things he never does. Very frustrating to deal with. Find someone more reliable who will communicate with you.
Adverse to doing any work. Down right rude disrespectful and 100% unprofessional. Make statements and promises that he doesn't follow through on and then denies ever having made those commitments. Then when challenged with the fact that I wasn't the only one that hurt him say what he said there was another witness who also took notes he suddenly changed his tune and less than 24 hrs came back with a proposal to settle the case however he didn't present any of my defense he just expects me to take the fine, walk away even though I am not guilty &he is fully aware of that fact. He told me I should sue this other individual for defamation for everything she has done to cause these issues I'm having with the state. I had 50 clients that wanted to help my defense and I gave him a list of 10 names and he was supposed to reach out to but he didn't reach out to anyone. He didn't reach out to the medical facility to get a letter saying I was there I did that. Avoid at any cost. He's uselss
Was unresponsive and did not follow up with me as planned or promised. Don't waste your time, go with someone more professional.
