Tommy has represented me on two cases, both with successful outcomes. He has extensive contacts and experience that he used to get the best possible solutions. He's also very up front about what to expect, which helped me make informed decisions. He and his staff are very easy to reach and communicate with.
My husband and I used Tommy for a surrogacy contract.. after reading many reviews and interviewing many lawyers we immediately felt comfortable with him and his knowledge and experience. It was a uncommon situation we were dealing with.. surrogacy for a gay couple in a state that at that point did not recognize our marriage and many unknowns on surrogacy. Tommy walked us through the process of the contract with our carrier and the nerve racking experience in the birth process.
Tommy and his staff are wonderful. They are professional, yet warm and supportive. Adoption is fraught with uncertainty, most of which is beyond the adoptive family's control. Tommy took care of the legal work PERFECTLY, which was very reassuring. The judge at our finalization hearing even commented that our file was one of the best he had seen! I highly recommend this firm to anyone adopting a child.
Very caring and empathetic. Took a genuine interest in our quest to locate birth parents.
Mr. Taneff is very skilled in the probate area of law, particularly those issues dealing with adoption and legal custody. He helped us complete a "standard adoption" for one of our daughters who came to us as a foster child. He also worked with us for several years to help us adopt a child another of our foster children whose biological relatives were trying to adopt her as well. I don't think we would have been able to adopt her if it wasn't for Tommy!!
He said to call if I ever had any questions. I was billed for every call, even when I called to discuss the reason for additional charges. He also told me that he needed to transfer my property in Florida to my name. He said he did it, but I found out that he did not transfer it and it was something that I finally transferred myself. I was still charged for his service in the matter. When I called to explain their error, I was charged for that too, so I paid the rest of the bill.
