Mr. W. was involved in a fatal truck accident and was charged with vehicular manslaughter. Separate criminal counsel was appointed. A “not guilty” plea was entered to allow for complete discovery, full investigation, hiring experts, interviewing all known witnesses and we advised this client on a regular basis. In fact the companion civil claim was settled early in order to positively impact the criminal charges. He accused the police officers, news media, all counsel, and the Ohio Cts of being biased. Every effort was made to thoroughly investigate this accident, but the evidence was adverse. Mr. W. made a scene at the courthouse, blaming the police and even his own counsel. The state trooper was adamant that he would not agree to a reduction of the criminal charges. All of this is documented.
Mr Buchbinder & Lorraine were so helpful & patient with my Daughter & I through this traumatic time in our lives. Robert quickly began work on our case, informing us about all aspects of our case along the way as well. Such swift & through Service has made this whole experience so much less stressful than it could have been. I feel Blessed to have Robert C. Buchbinder representing us & Highly Recommend Him.
Charles Buchbinder, Esq. was hired to defend me. For 8 months his law firm claimed I was not guilty of the charges against me. I still have the letters to prove this. They even plead me "not guilty" during a hearing that I was told was not needed to attend. My wife & I drove 5 hours to arrive at the court house. Five minutes before we went before the judge the attorney told me that I would not be represented by them ! But I bet they got paid their "Billable hours" ! They wasn't in it to defend me...they only wanted make money off their client (Me) by putting in as little effort as possible. I even filed a complaint against his law firm with the Ohio State Bar, and they covered up for him. How unfair is that ?
Very Inompetant
