Inspired by his past work in social services and community support, Ratul Ahmed found his passion in family law. He supports the firm’s Family Law group by drafting motions, preparing discovery, and handling trial preparations. He also interviews clients and helps get them ready for trial.
Ratul brings a principled yet compassionate approach to his clients’ situations. He previously worked with a social services agency, where he counseled clients and conducted behavioral health therapeutic sessions. He also founded a community center serving the underprivileged and homeless, where he served as Executive Director.
These experiences taught him the value of transparency and the delicate balance that family law matters require. His background in grassroots community organizing informs his passion for helping families resolve issues so they can pursue personal success.
Ratul navigates sensitive matters with energy, creativity, and problem-solving skills. He works to preserve relationships and resolve family discord without unnecessary cost and conflict. He helps his clients make clear-headed decisions-ones that recognize emotional pain without being clouded by it-and minimizes the toll these matters can take on their day-to-day lives.
Outside of the office, Ratul unwinds by hiking, reading, traveling, and raising his young family. He’s also known by many to be a jack-of-all-trades and a consummate problem solver.
