Laura's experience, as well as her familiarity with how the judges tend to lean on certain issues, was a tremendous confidence boost throughout the process. Her ability to explain things clearly, and not talk down, made me choose her over three other law firms that I had consultations with. After (my now) ex got outclassed in the first few go-arounds, my ex ended up firing her first lawyer in order to get a high dollar replacement out of Dublin. The money didn't help other than it seemed like my ex's strategy became an attempt to make this a war of attrition. Laura saw through this along with all of the other "fluff" that was being thrown at us. We continued moving forward until a very satisfactory settlement was reached. I cannot recommend enough.
My opinion I would not recommend her. If she's appointed to any case you have I strongly suggest appealing to have someone else appointed. The report made was not accurate or correct and lacked many details. There was a lack of investigation/communication to individuals that were listed & info provided to cotnact the individuals. It seems that the best interest was not where it needed to be. In addition,the location of places you appear at should be accurate as well, but this was not accurate on the report. Info. that was listed in the report was not fully backed with legitimate facts. If it was her opinion for the details she input then it makes me wonder who she was looking out for in the whole case. It was clearly not the child's best interest. In my opinion, she was & is more worried about money than the best interests of the child. She supposedly splits the amount, but have no proof because she doesn't provide opposite party invoice & from dealing w/her I find it hard to believe.
