For Jessa, designing, building and delivering customized estate planning solutions is
simply the start. Developing genuine client relationships, where her clients become her
friends and her friends become her clients, is the bonus that enables her to follow
clients through their lives to ensure her solutions work when needed and clients get to
realize their goals.
Choosing estate planning as an area of specialty was by design. Jessa believes the
impact on peoples’ lives and the community is reason enough to love this profession
and states, “When people come to us, they are often going through a difficult time, so
for me, the best part about my job is caring for my clients like they are my own family.”
Prior to joining Isaac Wiles, Jessa learned the ropes of estate planning in her
stepfather’s law firm where she worked her way up to Partner. As his practice wound
down, Jessa continued serving clients until she started a family of her own, at which
time, she transitioned her clients to a new firm, AlerStallings, where she served as an
estate planning Associate for several years. In this role, she counseled clients on estate
planning, elder law, including Medicaid planning, and matters relating to probate and
trust administration in Ohio and Florida. Jessa’s know-how and drive to get things done
makes her that rare professional who both understands the substance and procedure
yet has the unique skill to effectively communicate it to both her clients and other
lawyers.
When she’s not practicing law, Jessa can be found spending time with her husband,
son and dog Tucker. With a passion for the great outdoors, she enjoys hitting the water
and boating, and traveling with her family.
