Michael W. DeWitt/DeWitt Law, LLC agreed to take my case, but then ghosted me and I never heard from him again. Anyone considering using him as your attorney please think twice. He has no problem wasting your time, lying to you, shaking your hand and then ghosting you. I should’ve known something was up by the way he looked disheveled, homeless and his shoes were incredibly dirty. Nothing about him looked like a professional attorney that was meeting with a client. We first initially spoke over the phone where I explained my situation. Michael Dewitt then scheduled an in person meeting for us. I went all the way down to his office where he agreed to take the case and said I should hear from him by the end of the week with a copy of the demand letter he’ll send to my former employer plus his attorney fees. When I didn’t hear from him, I sent a follow up email, that he completely ignored.
