Cal Martin was admitted to the Georgia State Bar in 1980, having graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia’s Lumpkin School of Law. He attended Vanderbilt University for his undergraduate career, graduating cum laude in 1977 with Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business.
He has practiced in the area of civil litigation for over thirty-five years. He is one of roughly 150 Georgia fellows of the American College of Trial Lawyers and one of only five Columbus members. His practice is wide ranging involving medical malpractice, products liability and commercial litigation in state and federal courts, and he also serves as a certified arbitrator.
Cal has been involved in a number of activities outside the firm, including serving on the boards of various charitable organizations such as the United Way as well as the local independent school, Brookstone School. He is also certified as a registered neutral by the administrative Office of the Courts and the Commission on Dispute Resolution.
