About Ms. Amber N. Crawford

Amber N. Crawford is an Associate in our office in Columbus, Georgia, and she focuses her practice on estate planning, probates, guardianships and conservatorships, business transactions, and commercial real estate matters. She is licensed to practice in Georgia and Alabama.

Before joining Hall Booth Smith, Amber spent several years at a firm in Newnan, Georgia, where she specialized in probates and estate planning. She also represented creditors’ rights in Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases, handled contract negotiations, closed commercial and residential real estate transactions, and litigated civil and transactional matters. She served as a guardian ad litem and court appointed attorney in Probate, Superior, and Juvenile Court matters and was one of two County Administrators/Conservators in the Coweta County Probate Court.

Earlier in her career, Amber served as a prosecution intern under the Third Year Practice Act in Georgia’s Northern Judicial Circuit, which included Madison, Hart, Franklin, Oglethorpe, and Elbert counties. She also completed several other internships in probate and state courts.

Amber earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia, where she was a research assistant for Professor Eleanor Lanier for a grant project about the public guardianship program. She also completed a Bachelor of Business Administration, magna cum laude, at Columbus State University.

Amber served on the Board of Directors for the State Bar of Georgia’s Young Lawyers Division from 2022 to 2023. She previously served as a co-chairman for the State Bar of Georgia’s Young Lawyers Division’s Estate and Elder Law committee, which hosts First Responders Wills Clinics, providing pro-bono estate planning documents to First Responders and their spouses across the state of Georgia. Additionally, Amber currently serves as a Community Educator for the Alzheimer’s Association for the Columbus-area.

Was looking For Guidance and direction in regards to a Family law crisis and replied To Miss Amber Crawford via email on a Sunday and she was very Quick to return a response to all my questions and concerns on the matter . She was very thorough in her explanations targeting the essential areas with knowledgeable information that would render a practical approach towards a solution for what I was inquiring about . Ms. Crawford was prompt in response to my online inquiry and very professional in fielding my many questions. She was organized prior to our conversation and a strong listener, which I appreciate. At this time, I am not looking to hire an attorney in this particular matter, however I am happy to have met Ms. Crawford and will keep her in mind for future endeavors as she is easy to talk to and no doubt, an increasingly capable attorney. I cannot comment on fees and/or value for the money, since we have not transacted any business.

Where do I start! Well, My Husband and I was in need of an attorney to handle a guardianship case. I was in search of a female, to start off with, because I felt a female would be better suited in our case. I was also looking for an attorney who was professional, knowledgeable, organized, sympathetic, compassionate, reliable, trustworthy, responsive, and determined. As I searched online for such a person, I landed on the website of Mann & Wooldridge and seen Ms Amber listed as an associate and strange as it might sound, her picture showed me a person who possessed every one of the qualities I was looking for in an attorney. Ms Amber explained thoroughly the process of seeking guardianship for our loved one, she answered every question we had, she went above and beyond her call of duty. Her gentle way made us all feel reassured that everything will be just fine. I couldnt have gotten a better person to work with us than Ms Amber. I feel we got much more than we paid for.
