Jill Lesley is a dedicated advocate for employee rights and workplace justice. A Columbia native, Jill returned to South Carolina after earning her undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University and her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. During law school, she honed her advocacy skills through Mock Trial, work with the Journal of Law and Education, and hands-on experience as a Guardian Ad Litem and Student Attorney in the Juvenile Justice Clinic. Jill also contributed to significant cases involving human trafficking, sexual assault, and police misconduct during her time with the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office.
Before joining Cromer Babb Porter, LLC, Jill gained extensive litigation experience at Elizabeth Franklin-Best Law Firm, where she focused on federal criminal defense and post-conviction appeals, successfully arguing cases before the South Carolina Court of Appeals and the Fourth Circuit. Her diverse background in representing individuals through complex legal challenges now informs her passionate advocacy for employees in workplace disputes, where she fights to ensure fairness, dignity, and respect for every client.
