Hired Attorney

Retained Silverman for an absolute divorce. After the PL hearing, I realized something was off when he overpromised child support by the order of 1500. I also learned he made significant mistakes during discovery over a side business and missed important deadlines. He works alone without support staff. Though he is responsive, his fees are too high because he does not delegate secretarial duties. Initial discovery was not bates numbered and notifications for where to report were not given. He charged double what opposing counsel at a big firm cost. I had to change counsel mid-stream. When a partial refund was requested, he threatened to sue me.  A complaint was filed with the attorney grievance commission. Would not recommend.

Hired Attorney

He presumes a lot of key stuff. Of course, presume is just a pc word for assume. Even though I made it clear he was in charge, he made his poor decision a kajillion times worse by relying on my lack of feedback for a hugely consequential document to be ordered by the Court (with his signature) without objection. He failed to consider even the possibility that my email app never delivered it. Forget believing that he'd call about it - he never calls or texts. He just assumes, or rather, presumes. His retainer agreements states "may" request future retainers when he really means "will." Avoid this guy or it'll be to your peril. Caveat Emptor. He'll pretend that he understands a subject when he hasn't a clue. He says things to you that are wildly different than what he says in chambers. If you ask why, expect him to say, what I said to you doesn't matter. Wow! He may engage in credit card fraud by requesting x amount from you but never mentioning that he's adding 3500 to your x
