About Joseph Carter Maher

Joseph ("Joe") Maher is a Colorado Springs DUI and criminal defense attorney and founding partner of Maher & Maher Law PC. A former El Paso County prosecutor who served on the Vehicular Homicide team, Joe has tried more than 70 jury trials as both a prosecutor and defense lawyer. He is one of only four attorneys in Colorado to earn the ACS-CHAL Forensic Lawyer-Scientist designation, reflecting advanced training in DUI blood and breath testing science, and he has completed SFST, SFST Instructor, and ARIDE courses-the same training used to prepare DUI officers.
