Virginia Henley-Gatz is the finest lawyer I have ever dealt with,
not only did she give sound & reliable legal advice, she showed the utmost compassion & stamina in her work for me. I highly recommend her services & will recommend her to my family & friends!! 5 STARS!!!
Virginia was indispensable. She was friendly and knowledgeable. She answered every question I had thoroughly and really made me feel comfortable and informed about the proceedings.
Virginia really made me feel like she was on my side.
I felt that the firm really wanted the best for me and my children. However, the overall cost and recommendations of the firm ultimately did not support the outcome.
There is another review speaking to Gatz' lack of competency as a mediator. I concur. Do not hire. Worthless mediator. Waste of time and money. Unhelpful. Uncaring. Unreasonable. Just flat out worthless. She had no control over the mediation. But, she took her $600+ and accomplished nothing after two hours of deliberations. The State of Colorado should not allow her to mediate. She had no control of the aggressive party. She had no compassion for the grieving party. Her final delivered recommendations was to hire a parenting coordinator. Really? It took you two hours to come up with that?! "End of case, I'll take my money, good luck, losers!" In other words, if you're bringing her a tough case, look elsewhere. Gatz isn't going to help you. She doesn't know how. She's incompetent at mediating. I could have hired an 8th grader off the street who knows nothing about family law and they would have performed and mediated better. Stay far away from this mediation attorney. Do not hire.
We used Virginia for mediation, and I would not recommend anyone else doing so. During Mediation, we discussed very specific things, only to have something different drawn up in the paperwork. The result is that we have had to sort out the mediation document with our attorneys afterwards, costing more money. It would have been better if we had no mediator at all. The offer that Virginia communicated for medical expenses, was for me to pay the first $250 per year. I begrudgingly agreed with me paying a smaller equalization payment. I dropped a few issues, in agreeing to paying a little less in equalization payment. When the paper work was drawn up, there was close to $1,000 extra added for equalization and medical was listed as $250 per kid, per year. That is a potential $4,000 added.
