As an attorney who has practiced family law for over a decade, I quickly decided to have Carl and his team represent me in my own nasty divorce and child custody battle. I had been incredibly impressed with him when he was opposing counsel against me in the past, and was even more impressed with his representation. My divorce and child custody issues lasted almost 3 years. Carl was professional, insightful, affordable and quickly responded to all my inquiries. He sifts through the junk and focuses your case on the important issues that lead to the best outcome possible for your case. I was absolutely astounded by the results of my case, which far exceeded any of my expectations. He is incredibly prepared, whether for mediation or for trial. We had a very limited time during our two trials and he performed exquisitely in a way that only an attorney with decades of experience, legal knowledge and true preparation of the individual details of your case can preform.

After researching several law firms in the Colorado Springs area, I had the good fortune to choose Black & Graham, L.L.C. to represent me. My case was handled personally by Mr. Carl Graham and his assistant, paralegal Tracey Kellett. I could not have asked for a more skilled or experienced advocate.

Working with the attorneys at Graham Law left me feeling like they were not there to help stand up for me. In the initial consultation, they talked a good game, but when it came to execution in the face of conflict, they buckled to the opposing counsel.

After struggling for nearly 6 months, just to maintain basic communication about my case, I was given a 9 day notice near the end of my case that I had to seek counsel elsewhere, pay a new attorney within the firm or represent myself after my lawyer was “leaving to start his own practice” after finding out he was terminated and I was given now reason. After hemorrhaging money to this lawyer and the firm he represented, I was dropped in the cold near the end of my case and I’m now more confused than ever. I strongly recommend seeking counsel elsewhere as Graham Law is clearly concerned with profits over actually taking care of their so called clients.

I think Carl Graham and his law firm are highly unethical and unreliable. They massively overcharge, and use every excuse to go through your entire retainer for little to no work actually done on your case. Any question you have about your case is looked at as unforgiveable insubordination. When I brought up legitimate complaints, I was told they had to withdraw because "I didn't trust them". They got away with thousands of dollars of my money just to not do a single hearing. I wouldn't recommend Carl Graham or his law firm to anyone.
