Brett is very professional, knowledgeable, compassionate and caring. He took on my dissolution case just prior to my mediation and quickly reviewed and discovered errors in my initial case filing. He put in many hours to get up to speed quickly. Response time in communication was a very short turn around. I would highly recommend Brett. I had no concerns during the process with Brett and he was able to take a very stressful situation and put me at ease, giving me confidence in the outcome.
Unresponsive to my questions. Communication is poor and gets worse the closer we get to my trial. Does not meet in person or have a physical office to meet in. Under prepared for hearings. Late filing paperwork with the court. Would not have hired this lawyer if I had know he does not have time for my case.
Brett Chalmers and Erin Gardner are the most untrustworthy and unreliable lawyers I have ever worked with. I started with Brett Chalmers on a PPO case, then when I asked if he wanted to be my divorce lawyer, he agreed, but then turned me over to his associate, Erin Chalmers, the worst divorce lawyer I have ever experienced. I was regretfully talked into letting Erin handle my PPO hearing by Brett, who was assigned to do it since that is his specialty. Erin completely bombed at the hearing, and I was woefully unprepared for it. There was a recording of the defendant admitting to his crimes, and Erin was still able to mess it up so much that a self-confessed sex predator got away with it, so now I have to spend the rest of my life looking over my shoulder.
