Brennan D. Heuser, a Colorado native, earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Miami before enlisting in the U.S. Army. As a PSYOP sergeant in an airborne unit, he deployed under U.S. Special Operations Command to Afghanistan and Pakistan, where he mastered Farsi and Dari. After his military service, Brennan pursued an M.A. in National Security Affairs with a specialization in Political Warfare at the Institute of World Politics in Washington, D.C. He then joined the U.S. Department of State and served on the Fulbright Board. Returning to Colorado, he completed his J.D. at the University of Denver, where he was vice-president of the Student Veterans Association and advocated for disabled veterans through the Veterans Advocacy Project. Outside the legal sphere, Brennan enjoys hiking with his family, sampling new breweries, cheering on football games, grilling barbecue, and participating in his church community.
