Ashlea Goines graduated summa cum laude from Texas State University in 2006 with a B.A. in Political Science, where she was a scholarship track & field athlete and received top honors in both the Political Science and Athletic departments. She earned her J.D. with honors from Baylor University School of Law in 2009, where she met and married fellow Baylor lawyer Tim. After law school the family moved to Florida for Tim’s military service and Ashlea practiced as an associate at the Law Offices of Richard D. Green in Clearwater, focusing on estate planning, probate, guardianship, and real estate. Drawn to work with seniors and families affected by death or disability, she later settled in Colorado Springs, waived into the Colorado Bar under the military spouse rule in 2017, founded Goines Law in 2018, and became a full Colorado Bar member in 2022. Over a 16‑year career she has practiced exclusively in estate and business planning, probate, and guardianship and leads Goines Law’s estate planning and guardianship practices. She is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, Florida Bar, El Paso County Bar Association, Military Spouse JD Network, Baylor Law Alumni Ambassador program, and the Christian Legal Society.
