About Ms. Pamela Joy Proos Peters

Graduating with high honors from Hope College, Ms. Peters elected to attend Pepperdine University School of Law. While in law school she was a senior member of Dispute Resolution Law Journal, participant in moot court and trial practice, obtained various honors, and worked as a research assistant for a law professor. As a research assistant, Pam drafted an article published in the American Journal of Trial Advocacy. Additionally, Ms. Peters graduated from the Straus Institute of Dispute Resolution in 2006. As a trained Mediator, Pam brings the skills of alternative dispute resolution to legal and business conflicts. She recently published a law review article on the impact of nonverbal communication in mediation. She also teaches Conflict Resolution courses at in the Graduate School of Management and Business at St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
