Co-founder of Garlo Ward, P.C., Jerri Lynn Ward provides legal representation in the areas of business and commercial litigation, including complex healthcare and regulatory litigation, and health facility operational matters. Her background and prior experience also includes litigation work in the areas of insurance defense, employment, toxic tort, products liability, medical malpractice, business and commercial, as well as criminal matters.
Jerri's current practice also includes legal representation and counseling in health care and general civil and administrative law, including fraud and abuse, working with health care facility and individual providers in federal and state court matters and before government regulatory agencies and boards.
In addition to her other health care provider representation, Ms. Ward also focuses on legal work with group homes, ICFs/MR and providers of mental health/mental retardation services in the areas of operations and management; government reimbursement, contracting and liability defense; abuse and neglect; employment issues; and risk avoidance/management. Ms. Ward maintained board certification in Personal Injury Trial law for the period of 1990-99.
